Caitlin and Ben’s wedding was SO much fun.  That’s a memory that Kyle and I hold when we remember photographing it.  That, and it POURED rain.  It didn’t just rain, it rained hard all day.  The cool thing was that Caitlin and Ben could not have been more laid back about it.  We were able to deal with the rain, as their church had an amazing area in their getting ready room that could have very well been a studio.  We were able to shoot family and wedding party photos there and then do some really cute rainy couple’s photos later in the day when the rain wasn’t as heavy for a few minutes (see below). After the ceremony, we went to the Hyland Ski Chalet in Bloomington and actually got some really amazing photos outside. We had not shot at Hyland Ski Chalet before this and it was a cool place.
From shooting this day, I have to advise to people to make the most of your wedding day. Â Nothing will ever be perfect, but you make the best of it and it will be one of the most fun days you will ever have. Â Just take a look at how happy Ben and Caitlin were.
