You’ll notice that there are quite a few black and white shots in this post. That’s because this wedding looked REALLY amazing in black and white. Lumber Exchange Event Center wedding photography looks really good in black and white.
Katie and Jeff were married in what has become one of the rainiest Minnesota autumns I have seen in a long time. It didn’t pour on their day, but there was certainly an overcast with patches of rain (as you can see below). Luckily, they had the BEAUTIFUL Lumber Exchange Event Center to get married in. This venue is absolutely gorgeous. We’re always glad when we get to do Lumber Exchange Event Center wedding photography because the building is just unreal and we could shoot there all day. Perhaps my favorite moment of shooting on this day was the first look. For the first time in our history of shooting weddings, the bride ran around the groom, rather than letting him just turn around. This created a VERY fast scurrying around by both Kyle and myself to not only capture the moment, but not get each other in the shots as well. As you can see, we were able to succeed.
Both Katie and Jeff are both such fun people. We did their engagement session in Minnehaha Falls and they had such a good time there, despite the huge crowd of people. They had a great sense of humor all day, making for some wonderfully entertaining shots. Their family and friends were the same, making this a truly enjoyable day.
