Rachel’s Minneapolis senior photos session was so much fun! We love shooting Minneapolis senior photos. The city provides for such a colorful backdrop. With the river, streets, different architecture, you can create so many different types of photos. This particular session was during golden hour and blue hour.
This was the first time we met Rachel, but we had known her dad for years. He’s a good friend of Kyle’s. He also does plumbing for us in exchange for concert tickets. So you have to love that trade. The two of them are concert buddies, so it was great getting to know the whole family.
We shot these photos at Mill City and around downtown Minneapolis. It was actually the first time we had done professional photos by the music wall. That wall has become so popular over the years due to the Prince photos. Going over to the Mill City Ruins was wonderful, as always. Not only because the spot is great, but because the light kept changing. Because of this, we got golden hour and blue hour photos. Not a lot of people think of blue hour when it comes to senior photos. But it is gorgeous!
Rachel was really fun to work with. She made it just as easy on us as we hope we did for her.
