Spent a very nice November morning at the awesome Hansen Tree Farm in Anoka, Minnesota with these three. We photographed Becca and Justin’s destination wedding in Curacao years back.  Then, we shot their Minneapolis wedding and multiple sessions since then.  We love doing photography for clients in multiple stages of their lives and this is no exception.

We got to meet their adorable new family addition at this session.  Doing photography at a tree farm is a really fun experience.  The day was filled with the smell of pine and fire, which just creates the holiday season here, in my opinion. This was our first family photography session after getting back from Scotland (and getting over some wicked jet lag) and it was a lovely way to start again this side of the pond.

This year has been a big one of photographing holiday sessions.  That’s a lot of fun for us for a number of reasons.  One, we get to meet new clients and see previous clients all over again.  Two, it’s our slow season and we are total workaholics.  It gives us something to do while wedding season slows down a bit.  Plus, holiday photos are always really pretty with trees, lights, and snow.
