Schitt’s Creek Halloween Family Photos

This was the first time we ever did Halloween family photos with Andria and Kyle.  It wouldn’t be the last.

We first worked with Andria and Kyle years ago for their wedding, and it’s been a pleasure to watch their family grow over the years.  The two are some of the most creative people we have ever met.  This is a future post, so if you want to check out the Halloween shoot the following year, click here.  It’s Mandalorian themed.

When they first contacted us about this shoot, I had no clue what to expect.  They really hit it out of the park with these costumes though.  This session was shot in our backyard at 7am.  We had to do it early because the twins get up early.  We do not and I believe we were maybe up for ten minutes before they arrived.  Needless to say, this would not be the first shoot we would do in our backyard.  Nor would it be the first I have shot in my pajamas.  I love that we have clients that don’t care about that.

We absolutely loved these costumes. Halloween family photos are so fun.  I never really thought about taking professional ones.  After this, however, we offer them every year.

Chalk it up to being a little tired, but I didn’t realize the roles were reversed in this at first.  Kyle looks at me and goes, “Tracy, they’re the kids and the kids are the adults.”  It’s just such an awesome twist. Having babies as the parents is hilarious. One of my favorite shots is Andria holding the babies as Alexis, looking disgusted.  It was 100% Alexis.
