Dana and Kyle were married on a very cold winter date at Glenhaven Events in Farmington, Minnesota. This was a postponed wedding, postponed from April of last year. On paper, getting married in February seemed fine. Until it turned into one of the coldest days of the month.
It was so nice getting to see these two again. Since they were supposed to be married in 2021, we hadn’t seen them since their engagement session. We actually met with them originally over a dinner of Mexican food, which I will never forget. The two are just such nice people. They were the type of couple that trusted the professionals, but also were really chill on their day. It made for such a fun wedding day. I have to say, it was ridiculously funny hearing everyone say all day that it was supposed to be thirty degrees that day. What they didn’t realize was that it was supposed to be thirty degrees after sunset.
Highlights of the day
- Dana and Kyle in general. The two are just wonderful.
- Pictures in the snow! Yes, it was VERY cold and windy, but still. Wedding photos in the snow are so beautiful.
- Just the overall vibe. No one was super stressed about anything.
- We got to work with Mast Wedding Films again. Seriously, if you’re looking for a videographer, talk to them. They’re AWESOME!
