Alison and Dan were married at the Barn at Mirror Lake on a gorgeous summer day. The weather had been calling for rain all week on their day, but it steered clear of their wedding.
We had never been to the Barn at Mirror Lake before. After this wedding, we would love to work their every weekend if we had to. It’s a beautiful venue, the people running it are awesome, and they have lots of animals! We got to see dogs, cats, and baby cows, which is always a good thing.
Alison and Dan booked with us due to a referral from Alison’s uncle. Kyle has actually known him since third grade, so this made for a really fun day. We had worked with them on their engagement session last year and knew the day would be wonderful right away.
Highlights of the day:
- There were baby cows at the venue. They’re so cute!!
- We tend to love barn weddings, so this was just a joy overall.
- The AWESOME getting ready area. It’s a silo that has been converted to an Airbnb.
- Alison and Dan did a shotski after their first kiss. If you don’t know what it is, it’s shots on a ski.
