Backyard Maternity Photography

We have done a lot of backyard maternity photography in the past and we just love it.  Honestly, we find photography in clients’ backyards to be really cool.  Why?  When people do photography in their backyards, it is unique to them.  Unless you let someone else use your backyard for photos, you are the only people with that spot in your photography.

We photographed Bre and Kyle’s wedding back in November of 2020.  It was a very small wedding, due to the restraints on everything at the time.  It was really nice to see them at a much happier time.  One funny thing about the two of them is that they live on the same block that Kyle (RKH Images’ Kyle) grew up on.  So the two Kyles had a lot to talk about when it came to that.

This session was a lot of fun.  Not only did we do the traditional maternity shots, but then they add Tank in.  Tank is their awesome Golden Lab.  We remembered Tank from their engagement photography all the way back in 2019.  That was when he was a puppy and was all over the place.  He was much better trained now and got in with some of the photos.

I’ve said it before, it’s always so cool to see the new stages in the lives of our clients.  This is another great example of that.
