Ham Lake Family Photography

We spent our morning doing Ham Lake family photography after being contacted by our past clients, Caitlyn and Chris.

It was then that we realized that it had been two years since we had photographed Caitlyn and Chris’ wedding.  That wedding had been so much fun.  The two of them are so positive and friendly.  I always remember their wedding as the one where the bride did a run when she woke up too early on her wedding day.  It seems like such a cool way to just calm down on a busy day.

We were very excited when we heard from them last year.  Caitlyn told us that she was pregnant.  At first, she wanted to do maternity photos, but then decided they would rather have us do newborn photos.  A week ago, we received an email saying that their son had been born.  Saturday was the only day we had open to shoot, so we made it work.  It was wonderful to see them and their family again, as well as their adorable new addition.

Despite being the beginning of March in Minnesota, it was a lovely day.  We got to shoot outdoor newborn photos in March.  You don’t get to say that a lot in this state.  The little flannel he wore was SO cute!  That with the mix of the trees in the background made for such fun photos. So Minnesota.  Caitlyn and Chris’ house is really nice and we loved the area.  It was really quiet and we got to shoot photos in the nursery as well.

Getting to see how the lives of our wedding couples progress is so amazing.
