Early Spring Engagement Photos in Minnesota

So many people wonder what early spring engagement photos will look like in Minnesota.  Why?  Well if you aren’t from here, you know that early spring is a real coin toss.  Seriously.  We had snow a few weeks ago.  Then it was seventy degrees out.  So early spring doesn’t always look how you may envision spring photos. So many people think of spring photos and think tons of flowers and green.  Early spring is a touch more brown.

Nonetheless, the photos can look awesome.  It’s all about the couple and how fun they are.  These two were so great to work with.  One thing we loved is how many times swimming got brought up.  They are swimmer, so when we would do poses, they would incorporate certain swim strokes into it.  It was really funny at times and made for some awesome shots.

We originally met Kelly when we photographed her sister’s wedding years ago.  Then, we have been photographing her other sister’s family photos for the last two years.  Aside from that, we have done other weddings that relate to her family and friends.  So we were very excited to learn they wanted us to photograph their wedding.

They will be getting married in Duluth this October.  We are so excited for their wedding!
