Como Park Family Photos

We had never done Como Park family photos before. Mainly because so many people think that if we are at Como, we can automatically photograph them inside. Those that know Como know that you can’t photograph inside without a permit. However, Emily and Corbin know the park well and knew where they wanted to shoot outside.

We have known this family for quite a while. We photographed their wedding years ago and have done family photos with these two and her sister’s family as well. Then, we had shot her other sister’s wedding in Duluth a few weeks before this session. So going to do photos with them is really just catching up with friends. We just happen to have a camera with.

To begin with, it was COLD when we arrived. It was earlier in the morning and it had just stopped raining. I know, ideal, right? From a picturesque standpoint, I love it. You’ve got the cloud coverage and the recent rain really makes the colors pop. But man, was it chilly. Regardless, we all had a lot of fun. Their daughter is SO cute. All the kids in this family, whether it be Emily’s nephews or her daughter are freaking adorable.

Also, I’m literally just seeing for the first time that Corbin was wearing a Batman hat during this session. So that’s fun.
