Le Venere Wedding Photography

If you’ve never been to Le Venere in Saint Paul, go.  We had never shot Le Venere wedding photography before.  We were super excited to once we arrived.  The venue is absolutely gorgeous.  It’s got that old Hollywood glam thing going for it.  Not only that, but everything is very much in one place.  You’re not running all over the place from a ceremony site to cocktail hour and beyond.  These are things you don’t really think about when you’re planning a wedding.  But you realize all of them the day of.

One big thing one this date was that we were due for a blizzard.  Seriously, the snow was due to start at 3pm on that Saturday and not stop until Monday afternoon.  It was crazy.  Luckily, Katherine and Jim were super chill about it.  They knew that some people wouldn’t be able to show up and that others would leave right after the ceremony.  But they were happy and enjoyed their day.  After the ceremony, the snow was really coming down.  We all went outside and walked and danced in the snow, taking photos.  Later that night, we did the same.  It was amazing, despite the crazy weather.

Katherine and Jim were great to work with.  They were so calm on their wedding day and had fun with their guests.
