Wedding at CHS Field Securian Financial Club

Alex and James had their wedding at CHS Field Securian Financial Club over Labor Day weekend this year. We had been there in the past for games and concerts. But we had never been there for a wedding, so this was really fun.

Once again, we are photographing a wedding that is connected to the family of another wedding. Which is always cool. We photographed Alex’s sister’s wedding years ago. And honestly, her wedding was GREAT. So we knew we were in for a good time here.

These two are so cute. They’re just such fun people. One thing that was so funny was that when we were driving down the hill to the field. We could see something in the distance. As we got closer, we realized it was a photo from the engagement session on the Jumbotron. It was HUGE. You could see it all the way down the road. That just made our day.

Shooting at the field was really cool. We got to go down on the track and then did photos in the outfield as well. One thing I really liked was that the Securian Financial Club was nice and air conditioned. But if you wanted a break from everything, you could step outside and sit in the seats. It was like a very relaxing little area you could access from everywhere.

Highlights of the day:

Their dog spent the whole day with him. And he was such a good boy! Seriously, he was so happy.

Just fun people. They were wonderful. Their families were wonderful. The pastor was so much fun. That always makes a day great.
