Summer family photography can be a tricky thing. It’s mainly for the exact opposite reason as the winter. It can be absolutely beautiful out, or humid and awful. Luckily for all involved, this was a gorgeous evening for summer family photography.
Mia and Carlos are probably our most repeat customers. By that, I mean, we have photographed them more than any other couple we know. We photographed their wedding, two maternity shoots, Christmas sessions, newborn photos, and now, they continue to book us again and again. Basically, they’re awesome and we just adore them for it.
Now, onto this particular session. As everyone knows, it can be tough getting kids to take photos. Especially when they’re small. They just don’t want to do it. However, these two little ones were doing a really good job. They are the first kids I have ever seen that willingly kept hats on. That’s tough to do. We had a lot of fun with them. They brought bubbles with them, which I find a brilliant move for family photos and now suggest it as often as I can remember to. The amount of candids we got of the kids playing with the bubbles is unreal.
This family is awesome and we just really love being able to document them throughout the years.
