Sunny Family Photography

We had so much fun at this sunny family photography session.  It was quite early for us (9:30am).  We rarely do photo shoots that early, unless it’s a sunrise session.  We were working around client work schedules though, so that was that.

This was the fourth time we worked with Natalie and Josh.  They were married in 2020 in a small ceremony.  Meeting them was one of our happy moments of that crazy year.  We later did a maternity session and newborn session with them.  Now, their adorable little boy is up and walking around!  He’s so cute.

This session was around Mother’s Day because Natalie’s family was in town for the weekend.  Being from the Northeastern area of the country, it was kind of a one time deal to get professional photos done.  We had worked with all of them in the wedding, so it was nice to see everyone again.  We first shot in the area of the park by the visitor’s center.  However, the sun was so bright that we decided to back into the woods.  Such a great decision!  It was beautiful back there and there was a ton of shade.  Not only was it great for natural light, but it cooled everyone down too.  That is always nice.

In the end, it was super nice to get to see everyone again.  We absolutely love seeing clients again and again.  When you photograph weddings, you really get to know people.  Since we take our work so much more personally, we just love keeping up with clients’ lives.
