Summer Engagement Photos in Minneapolis
We shoot so many summer engagement photos in Minneapolis. And quite honestly, we don’t ever really have to worry too much about the weather. This year has been a different story. This session was the third reschedule. Why? The two other times, it flat out POURED rain. And those who are familiar with our blog know that we love the rain. At least I do. Kyle, not so much, but still. We do consider the rain to have a romantic vibe to it. And this time? All the forecast was saying all week was that it was supposed to pour again. But none of us wanted to reschedule again. And we lucked out. Not only did it not rain. It was gorgeous out.
These two are so much fun. We got to meet Leslie’s mom at the session and their dog, Sully. That’s always fun. I like meeting parents at engagement sessions because when we go into weddings, it’s not the first time meeting parents. That is a lot nicer than you can imagine. Meeting Sully was great, as he was adorable. As you can see, they did a few different outfits. The standout for us was the Packer/Viking jersey combo though. Especially when they go, “Oh, we have a referee shirt and a whistle for Sully.” That was SO cute! The addition of him was enough, but with a ref shirt? So cute.
They were recommend to us by another couple of ours. That couple, and know these two, are part of a huge group of people whose weddings we have shot. There are basically two huge groups of friends and families where we have shot all their weddings. This group is amazing and we just love working with all of them. Leslie and Brian were so fun. They were the type that we just kept talking to at the end of the session. They are getting married at the Lumber Exchange building next year and we are excited to get back there. We have shot multiple weddings there and it is a really cool, unique place. It’s going to be so fun!
